Indian Politics and Sub-Quota For Minorities showing coming election drama :Real Time News Update For Indian Muslims

It is sounded various times for the reservation of minorities in all sectors of Indian Government departments and as well as private sectors too.But there was no move to do so.The present UPA Government leads by Congress party has taken a little effort to do so as"Sub-quota for minorities".The Census of India says there is 17% of population belongs to Muslim community but whatthe UPA done for them only 4.5% which is fully insufficient.

Various Muslim organisations organisations today said that the UPA government's decision to provide 4.5 per cent reservation for minorities within the existing 27 per cent OBC quota was as it is a good move but insufficient for Muslims.It is a good beginning but 4.5 per cent reservation is too less.They hope that the government will provide 10 per cent quota for Muslims as recommended by the Ranganath Commission"Jamiat-Ulama-i-Hind Chief Maulana Arshad Madani told PTI.Jalaluddin Umri,a Jamaat-e-Islami Hind leader,said"the 4.5 per cent quota is not sufficient.The Ranganath Commission had recommended 10 per cent reservation for Muslims.We do not want less than that."He said the government should declare all Muslims as backward.The All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat(AIMMM)also demanded 10 per cent reservation for Muslims.We hope the government will implement recommendations of the Ranganath Mishra Commission and the Sachar Committee,"AIMMM leader Illiyas Malik said.On Wednesday,the Uniongovernment cleared a proposal to allow 4.5 per cent quota for minorities within the 27 per cent reservation for Other Backward Classes(OBCs)."Though the 4.5% reservation is within the 27% OBC quota, it is a positive step towards justice to the minorities,especially Muslims,who are educationally and economically backward.Our demand is for a separate quota for Muslims, but at least this will help the Muslim OBCs in securing government jobs,"said All India Ulema Association president Maulana Athar Ali.Mr. Mohammed Iftekharuddin Ahmed, President, Muslim Reservation Front told that the reservation given by Central Govt.to the Muslims to the extent of 4.5% is deceitful.Muslim religious leaders,social activists and intelligentsia feel that the community will be the biggest beneficiary of the quota since Muslims make the largest minority in the country.By providing 4.5% reservation within 27 reservation for the OBC’s will certainly create a rift between the Muslims and the backward sections of the society.He demanded the Govt.that following the recommendations of Mishra Commission & Sachar Committee,Muslims should be given 10% reservations.

Assam Agitation & Bodoland genocide on Mia Muslim In Assam :A review of Lost & Gains

The East Bengal Rooted Muslims are living in Assam from the firstdecade of 19th centaury as they were brought to Assam on the patronized by the Assam Government for better cultivation in wet land.The Government had thought that it would be increased more agricultural production in Assam and the idea was proved 100 per cent right.The agricultural production was increased up to 200 percent.As the time is going east Bengal rooted people are normally illiterate so their families were going large to larger as they did not what was family planning.It in motioned that these hard working MIA Muslims had has bad nature of bigamy so they had have lots of children .This joint nature had increased their population 100 times with in a few decades in their staying in Assam.This is the root cause of their spread ness all over the Assam including the tribal and hills area.

Normally the Brahamaputra valley population is increased due to their migration to Lower Assam to upper Assam and this was the root cause of 6 years Assam Agitation which was ended with Assam Accord.Another major set back was started by the tribal Bodo people genocide cleaning of non Bodo people from tribal area either upper Assam or lower Assam.What the Assamese people or Bodo people gained or lost is not our discussable matter but we will discuss what the MIA/East Bengal rooted/illiterate poor people lost in these agitation against them.

Firstly we will see what the Mia people lost:-
i]Mia people has lost one third (1/3) lives of their total population.(eg. Nally,Gohpur, Kamrup,Lakhimpur mass killing etc) 

ii)The Mia people have lost their tradition mother tongue.

iii)Survived whole Mia community is labeled as foreigners or Bangladeshi by the right wings intellectuals of Assam.

iv)The poor Mia community had has to stop migrate other parts for Assam for their bread and butter.

v)The Mia community has lost the trust ruling government which was promised to save their lives.

On the other hand the Mia people has gain some positive things for these major agitations.I will going to give a splash of those :-

i)The Community has started to open more more school,colleges from primary to Graduation in their owndominate areas.

ii)They had learnt the life style how to survive in a civilized society .

iii)The Mia community had has learned to process of gain political power .

iv)The Mia community has learnt the civilized languages of protest in favor of their rights.

v)A major portion of the people had has left their traditional profession and try their luck in other profession like business,Government service and many more.

Conclusion:-

The Mia Community(East Bengal rooted)Muslim are going developing day by day and the present scenario shows that they are not wait rehabilitation settlement.They are now doing their one way how to survive with other indigenous(self styled) Assamese people.As they have already learnt it that no country will accept them as their citizen except India.So they started struggling with the boundary of Indian Constitution.

Uttar Pradesh Election-2012 & Political Drama On Muslim Quota In Reservation With Other Backward Cast

The largest state with largest population in India is Uttar Pradesh General election will be held in seven phases on 8,11,15,19,23,28 February and 3 March.The result will be announced on 6 March.The political game is started with almost all parties either national or regional politics.The Election Commission of India(ECI)has already imposed election charters to all political parties and individuals.

One of the major agenda of this UP election is Muslim quota orreservation for Muslim.Due to concern of this agenda all parties have stated their own view in connection with this matter.

1.Congress stands:-

Union Law Minister and Congress leader has commitmented of 9 percent Muslim quota in jobs in Uttar Pradesh under the backward class category if elected to power in the state.But The Congress spokesperson Rashid Alvi said the comment was made by Khurshid in individual capacity and not by Congress party. 

2.Samajwadi Party stands:-

On the other hand the Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav,who has a big Muslim vote bank,went a step ahead to say:"The government is betraying the minorities.Minority reservation quota should be 18% instead of 4.5% that Congress tabled,this is too little.
3.CPI-M stands:-

The Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) Rajya Sabha member Sitaram Yetchury had demanded 15% of reservation for minorities that was referred by the Ranganath Mishra Committee.
4.BJP stands:-

The BJP Leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqbi says in an interview with NDTV that the party doesn't allow the reservation system on Muslim which will brings another partition in the country. Charging the Congress with playing "dirty politics"for petty political gains in Uttar Pradesh. 

5.Bahujan Samaj Party stands:- 

The Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP)leads by Kumari Mayawati has promised to the Muslim voters on the issue of quota system that the party will take necessary steps for 9% for Muslim under OBC ground.

Election Commission Fires:-

Meanwhile,Slapped a notice by the ECI to explain Union Law Miniter's remark that if elected to power Congress would provide nine percentreservation for Muslims in jobs in Uttar Pradesh,Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid earlier had said he was only uttering what was in the manifesto.He said while opposition leaders like Mulayam Singh demanded 18 percent and even 28 percent he only said what they had come up after survey when he was at helm in UP and had followed at the center.Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh elections,political parties are in a race to outdo each other over wooing the minority and Congress courted a fresh controversy when Salman Khurshid promised nine percent sub-quota for the backward Muslims in the state jobs on Sunday last.The ECI,which was moved by parties like the BJP over the issue, has issued a notice of Khurshid and his wife over the remark. 

Eye Wishers Conclusion on Muslim Reservation:-

Before the announcement of poll dates in Uttar Pradesh,the Congress had played its Muslim card as the union cabinet announced a 4.5 per cent sub-quota for the minorities under the 27 per cent quota reservationfor Other Backward Classes(OBCs).With Muslims forming a major chunk of the vote bank (18.5 percent)in Uttar Pradesh,the political parties are in a battle to woo the community with promises and sops. This election definitely is a major sit back for Congress,SP,BSP and BJP as all are power hungry in this largest state in India.

Islamic Perspectives of Valentine Day celebration:-
It is seen that almost all countries youth generation is starting celebrating valentine day.But Islamic mythology says that we should avoid anything associated with pagan immoral practices where it gives honour or celebrate the death of a Christian"saint".It is clear in Islam that it does not encourage flirting or suggestions of romantic relationships before marriage,Love between families,friends and married people does not need to be celebrated on a day with such un-Islamic origins.

Here a few queries Related to valentine day on Islamic perspective:-

Question 1:-In recent times,celebration of the Valentine Day has spread,particularly among female students.It is a Christian celebration, and it is (manifested) with fully red costumes, clothing and shoes,and exchange of red roses. What is the ruling oncelebrating this holiday? Answer:-Celebrating the Valentine Day is not permissible because:Firstly,it is an innovated holiday that has no basis in the Sharee`ah. Secondly,it calls to love and passion.Thirdly, it calls to keeping one's heart busy with nonsense matters which contradict the guidance of the righteous predecessors,may Allah be pleased with them.

Question 2:-Some people celebrate Valentine's Day on February 14 every year by exchanging red roses as gifts.They alsodress up in red clothing,and congratulate one another (on this occasion).Some sweet shops produce special sweets,red in color and draw hearts upon them. Some shops advertise their goods which are specially related to this day.What is the Islaamic view[concerning the following]: Celebrating this day? Buying from these shops on this day?Selling by shop-owners who are not celebrating the things which are used as gifts, to those who are celebrating?

Answer:-The clear evidence from the Qur'aan and Sunnah,and this is agreed upon by consensus (Ijmaa)of the early generations of the Muslim Ummah,indicates that there are only two 'Eids in Islam(days of celebration):'Eid al-Fitr (after the fast of Ramadhaan) and 'Eid al-Adhaa (after the standing at'Arafah for pilgrimage). Every other'Eid-whether it is to do with a person,group,incident or any other occasion - is an innovated'Eid.It is not permissible for the Muslim people to participate in it,approve of it,make any show of happiness on its occasion,or assist in it in any way - since this will be transgressing the bounds of Allah:"and whoever transgresses the bounds of Allaah, he has wronged his own self,"[Soorah at-Talaaq,Aayah 1]Allah has prohibited the believers from imitation of them and having love or loyalty for them in His Mighty Book (Qur’aan).It is also confirmed from the Prophet Sallallaahu Alayhi Wa Sallam that he said:"Whoever imitates a people is one of them." It is not permissible for any Muslim,who believes in Allah and the Last Day,to participate in it,approve of it,or congratulate (anyone on that occasion).On the contrary,it is obligatory to abandon it and stay far away from it - in response to Allah and His Messenger, and to distance oneself from the anger of Allah and His punishment."
Additionally,it is forbidden for a Muslim to assist or help in this Valentine's Day, or any other of the forbidden/illegal celebrations in any way whatsoever - whether by food or drink, selling or buying, production, gift-giving, correspondence, announcements, etc. All of these things are considered as co-operating in sin and transgression and disobedience of Allah and His Messenger.Allah,the Glorious and Most High, says:"and co-operate with one another in righteousness and piety, and do not co-operate in sin and transgression. And fear Allaah! Verily Allaah is severe in punishment,"[Soorah al-Maa.idah,Aayah 2]As regards the Islamic stance on this festival,Dr.Su`ad Ibrahim Salih,professor of Islamic Jurisprudence(Fiqh) at Al-Azhar University,states the following:-Indeed,Islam is the religion of altruism,true love,and cooperation on that which is good and righteous.We implore Allah Almighty to gather us together under the umbrella of His All-encompassing Mercy,and to unite us together as one man.Allah Almighty says:"(The believers are naught else than brothers.Therefore make peace between your brethren and observe your duty to Allah that haply ye may obtain mercy.)"(Al-Hujurat 49:10) He added "Focusing more on the question in point,I can say that there are forms of expressing love that are religiously acceptable,while there are others that are not religiously acceptable.Among the forms of love that are religiously acceptable are those that include the love for Prophets and Messengers. It stands to reason that the love for Allah, and His Messenger Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) should have the top priority over all other forms of love."Islam does recognize happy occasions that bring people closer to one another,and add spice to their lives.However, Islam goes against blindly imitating the West regarding a special occasion such as Valentine’s Day.Hence,commemorating that special day known as the Valentine’s Day is an innovation or bid`ah that has no religious backing.Every innovation of that kind is rejected,as far as Islam is concerned. Islam requires all Muslims to love one another all over the whole year,and reducing the whole year to a single day is totallyrejected.
Conclusion:-

We Muslims ought not to follow in the footsteps of such innovations and superstitions that are common in what is known as the Valentine’s Day.No doubt that there are many irreligious practices that occur on that day,and those practices are capable of dissuading people from the true meanings of love and altruism to the extent that the celebration is reduced to a moral decline. Likewise,it is obligatory for every Muslim to adhere strictly to the Qur'aan and Sunnah in every situation,especially in times of temptations and corruption.It is incumbent that he/she understands,be aware and be cautioned from falling into the deviations of those whom Allah is angry with and those who are astray and the immoral people who have no fear of punishment,nor hope of reward,from Allah,and who give no attention at all to Islam.It is necessary for the Muslim to flee to Allah,the Most High,seeking His Hidaayah (Guidance)and Thabaat(Firmness)upon the Path.Verily,there is no Guide except Allah and no One who can grant firmness except Him.Lastly I can say that It is not permissible for a Muslim to celebrate any of the festivals of the kuffaar.Valentines Day is an innovated festival for which there is no basis in Islam.However,Others would do well to remember the famous saying of the Prophet (صلي الله عليه وسلم):“Whoever imitates a people is one of them.”(narrated by Ahmad,2/50; Abu Dawood,4021 )May Allah the Exalted protect Muslims from every trial,apparent and hidden,and that He give them protection and guidance.Ameen.
